In
1987, John started tinkering with a Commodore 64 system.
Soon thereafter, his mother-in-law bought him his first
IBM compatible system. Within weeks, co-workers, friends
and relatives were asking John's advice on their own PC.
From time to time people would hand him $20 as a thank
you for his work. This hobby became a business within
one year, and so Computer Solutions was born.
After 3 years of struggling, John decided to close
that company in favor of working for Inside Computers
as a tech. Two years later customers, a change in the
PC world along with his artistic abilities and love
for art convinced John to re-open his own company.
ComputerJohn.com opened in April 2000, Kathy also left
her job to help in this endeavor. Since then we have
expanded our services, limited our computer work in
lieu of Website Design, hosting and advertising media.
The response has been overwhelming and expansions of
the company are on-going.
Enjoy!
